Style Edit- Isle Lane
Perfectly hidden on Queen Street in Brisbane City, Isles Lane Bar & Kitchen is surrounded by the iconic Post Office Square. We were lucky enough to hold a styled shoot at Isles Lane and have fallen in love with the beautiful botanic-style venue.
Drawing in natural light, Isles Lane encompasses a welcoming oasis of greenery and contemporary sophistication. The venue features on open, modern and verdant space which can be easily transformed to fit any type of event. We played around with the space, moving furniture and planter boxes to create one long wedding reception style table through the centre of the room.
Our florist, Garden Graffiti, designed and crafted an incredible floating floral arrangement from the pendant lighting all the way down to drape across the table. The colour palette remained neutral to complement the natural aesthetic the venue brings. Soft creams and terracotta were reflected in the stationery which added a touch of elegance to the natural tones.
The lawn facing the Bar & Kitchen’s frontage is the perfect space for an outdoor ceremony that will feel incredibly intimate even though it is surrounded by the concrete jungle that is Brisbane City. With a hand-selected contemporary wine list and cocktails made on-the-go, we were truly blown away with the catering options available. Taking cues from big city eating houses found across the globe, Isles Lane focuses on a unique paddock-to-plate tasting experience.
A truly beautiful space, Isles Lane Bar & Kitchen has a capacity to hold 100 sit-down guests and 200 cocktail guests. With the opportunity to have a wedding ceremony and reception in the same location, it makes for the perfect venue to host your special day.
